SOME OF OUR PROJECTS

DISPLACED children NEEDING HUMANITARIAN AID

The NW/SW English Speaking Regions of Cameroon are in armed conflict with the Cameroons central government since November 2016. The on-going conflict has left hundreds of thousands homeless and or displaced. The most vulnerable of whom are the children who are exposed to displacement, torture and exposure to violence, which are all contributing factors leading to poor mental health and compromised futures. Schools have been shot down for two years for 80% of the region. Over 80 villages have been burnt down by government armed forces fighting with pro-independent forces. Over 500 000 people are living in forests with no medical facilities. This is raining season and most of them do not have good shelter, no clean water ,women don’t have sanitary towels, no warm clothing for children etc. Basic foods are lacking as most of them eat only root crops in the forest.
